**NGO School Rebuilding Project | Kathmandu Films**

This large-scale NGO project marked a significant milestone for Kathmandu Films, involving high-profile global figures including Petra Němcová and initiatives supported by Leonardo DiCaprio, the Happy Hearts Fund, and All Hands. The project focused on rebuilding schools in Nepal following the devastating earthquake, with the goal of restoring education infrastructure and handing over completed schools to local authorities.

Kathmandu Films worked as the full production house for this project, managing all aspects of filming and production. The shoot primarily took place in Sindhupalchowk and Nuwakot, two of the most affected regions, requiring careful coordination, logistical planning, and sensitivity to local communities.

The scale of the project was substantial, with volunteers from 28 countries participating, making it a truly global humanitarian effort. The production involved documenting construction progress, community engagement, and official handover ceremonies, capturing both the impact and emotional significance of the initiative.

For this project, Chandan Jha and Kathmandu Films handled complete production execution including planning, filming, coordination with NGOs and international teams, and on-ground management. The experience of working alongside global personalities and large international teams added depth and value to the production.

This project stands as one of the most memorable in Kathmandu Films’ journey, reflecting its credibility, capacity, and ability to deliver high-quality production on meaningful, large-scale international initiatives.
