Google Developer Groups – Everest Episodes (2 Episodes) | Kathmandu Films

Google Developer Groups is a global community initiative that connects developers to learn, collaborate, and build using Google technologies. This special Everest-focused production spans two episodes filmed in the Himalayan region, combining technology, adventure, and storytelling. Set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Everest, the episodes showcase how global communities and digital innovation connect even in the world’s most remote environments.

The project highlights developer interactions, community engagement, and inspiring moments captured in extreme high-altitude conditions, blending technology-driven narratives with breathtaking Himalayan visuals.

For these two Everest episodes, Chandan Jha and Kathmandu Films worked as Line Producer and Fixer in Nepal, managing filming permits, high-altitude logistics, crew coordination, travel planning, and full on-ground production support. Operating in challenging terrain required precise execution, safety management, and deep local expertise.

This project demonstrates Kathmandu Films’ ability to support unique international productions that combine technology, storytelling, and extreme location filming in Nepal.
