BEAR GRYLLS: MAN VS EVEREST is a high-intensity adventure documentary released in 2013, hosted by renowned survival expert Bear Grylls. The film explores the extreme realities of climbing Mount Everest, featuring gripping stories from climbers and insights from a seasoned Everest summiteer. It captures the danger, allure, and extraordinary human determination required to face one of the harshest environments on Earth.

Set against the breathtaking yet unforgiving backdrop of the Himalayas, the documentary showcases daring expeditions, life-threatening conditions, and the physical and psychological limits encountered at high altitude. For this production, Chandan Jha and Kathmandu Films worked as Line Producer and Fixer in Nepal, managing filming permits, high-altitude logistics, coordination with local authorities, crew support, and full on-ground production execution in the Everest region. Operating in extreme terrain required precise planning, strict safety measures, and deep local expertise.
